Mission Statement
The Out-of-Body Travel Foundation was founded in 2003 by Author, Marilynn Hughes with the express mission of Reducing Spiritual Hunger Worldwide.
Our Mission Came from the Words of Mother Teresa
Our mission came from the words of Mother Teresa, “The greatest disease in the West today is not TB or leprosy; it is being unwanted, unloved, and uncared for. We can cure physical diseases with medicine, but the only cure for loneliness, despair, and hopelessness is love. There are many in the world who are dying for a piece of bread but there are many more dying for a little love. The poverty in the West is a different kind of poverty — it is not only a poverty of loneliness but also of spirituality. There’s a hunger for love, as there is a hunger for God.”
As result of these words, the vision for The Out-of-Body Travel Foundation was born.
Where I’ve Been, Where I’m Going
These books chronicled my journal entries over the course of many years through many experiences. I have learned and grown from each of them and often it could take years for me to come to a full realization of what it all meant, then and now. But as you will observe, I began my journey embracing many ideas and studying the Ancient Sacred Texts of every world religion in my quest for the truth. Where that quest would eventually lead, however, was the Catholic Church. I’ve come to be able to say without reservation, “I believe and profess all that the holy Catholic Church believes, teaches and proclaims to be revealed by God.”
You will always receive love, care and help from me with no judgment. I continue to have great respect for people of all faiths and their sacred and holy texts, and I simply wish to continue to assist all seekers for truth. My choice may not be your choice. It’s your journey and I will remain a facilitator of learning and a provider of resources to all who continue to seek the truth. This is not sponsored by the Catholic Church. It is a Private Outreach to all seekers of truth. I hope to simply facilitate learning by pointing out resources to deepen the spiritual lives of those who seek to know God from all backgrounds.

Our Out-of-Body Travel Goals . . .
The Out-of-Body Travel Foundation is a charitable organization committed to exploring the many dimensions of consciousness available through out-of-body experiences. Our purpose is to discover, promote, and cultivate personal growth and understanding of the various benefits of astral travel.
Our mission is to provide reliable, safe, and well-structured information and resources to those interested in exploring out-of-body experiences, human potentials, and consciousness. Through research, education, awareness, and mentorship, we hope to inspire people to create a better understanding of the multidimensional universe and to help people experience life on a higher level through out of body travel.
We are an inclusive organization that embraces all beliefs and encourages people to challenge their own limits and explore their own out of body travel potential. Our members represent many paths of spiritual development within astral travel, astral projection, out of body travel, out of body experiences.
We believe the science and practice of out-of-body travel are key parts of both personal and spiritual growth. We strive to provide a forum and community for those who are actively pursuing out of body travel and this exploration and understanding of these phenomena so that all may benefit from the knowledge and understanding gained.
